Meetings
The Board meets at least once each quarter and may meet more often as necessary. The meetings are held for the Board to make decisions on various policy issues. The Board reviews, revises, ratifies, or rejects recommendations and decisions made by the Board’s committees and staff. The Board also has several committees and task forces which meet as needed.
All of the meetings are held in California and are open to the public, except for closed sessions. Closed sessions are held to deliberate decisions in disciplinary proceedings; prepare, approve, grade, or administer examinations; address pending litigation; and consider personnel matters.
Listed below are the dates and locations for Board and committee meetings. Meeting agendas, materials, and minutes are available (unless otherwise specified) for viewing by clicking on the respective link. Agendas are available 10 days prior to the date of the meeting. Minutes for meetings are available once approved by the Board or respective committee.
The meeting facilities for Board and committee meetings are accessible to the physically disabled. A person who needs a disability-related accommodation or modification in order to participate in the meeting may make a request by contacting the Board. Providing a request at least five business days prior to the meeting date will help ensure the availability of the requested accommodation.
