Board Thanks Licensees Who Participated in the 2014 OA Survey
The Board would like to thank those licensees who participated in the 2014 Occupational Analysis (OA) survey. The purpose of the OA survey is to identify and rate job tasks currently performed by California architects and the knowledge required to perform those tasks. The survey results will be reviewed and analyzed, allowing the Board to move forward with completing additional studies, which will ultimately provide a foundation for updating the California Supplemental Examination Test Plan and future examinations.
A cross-section of California architects (based on geographic location and length of time licensed) was invited to participate in the online survey during the month of July. As such, their participation was critical in order to obtain statistically valid data.
The Board realizes that, as practicing professionals, time is valuable and limited. Those who participated in the survey are therefore commended for their contribution to this important project.
