Architect Registration Examination (ARE)

The ARE is developed by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is the national architectural licensing examination. The ARE consists of multiple individual divisions and examines a candidate's knowledge, skills, and ability to provide the various architectural services required in the design and construction of buildings.
